The limited company M.V.Wool was founded in 1988 and is one of the fish production and sales businesses with the longest traditions in Estonia. The company deals with selling fresh and frozen fish and the production and sales of various fish products. M.V.Wool`s domestic market is mainly Estonia, but our products are also sold in other markets (Finland, Denmark, Latvia). Thanks to our systematic quality policy and client-orientation we have evolved into the market leader in refrigerated fish and fish products. The company`s 2009 turnover was 130 million kroons. As on 31.12.2009 the company employed 104 people.
We use red (salmon, trout) as well as white (seabass, herring) fish as raw produce. Red fish is supplied from Norway and white fish from Estonia and other countries (Canada, Denmark, etc). Fish products are manufactured in our fish industry in Vihterpalu. The total area of the factory is 1900 m2 and it received a certificate as proof of compliance with EURO standards. In addition, the company owns a 1000 m2 refrigerated distribution centre in Tallinn, which organises the delivery of goods to clients. Logistics is managed with company`s refrigerator cars.
